BBC Radio 3 Sound First

I was a runner-up in the first ever BBC Radio 3 Sound Design competition which was judged by Peabody Award winning sound designer Paul Carter AKA Benbrick. If you’ve not already, listen to his stunning work on Have You Heard George’s Podcast? and Futile Attempts (At Surviving Tomorrow).

We were given a poem and not much else to go on, but I ended up rather fond of my piece and it was a great exercise. I also wrote the music you hear in the background. A big thank you to my friend Lydia for letting me commandeer her early morning voice memos.
